Brittany’s love for helping kids motivated her to become a sports performance coach at the DRC. Her hope is to teach kids exactly what it takes to achieve excellence in sport and in life.
Brittany played volleyball at Sunrise Mountain High School where she was a two year letter winner. She then earned a scholarship to play at Pima Community College her freshman year and transferred to Scottsdale Community College for her sophomore year where her team was one win away from winning their regional tournament. She finished her career playing Division II at Chadron State College (CSC) in Chadron, Nebraska. Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in mild/moderate disabilities from CSC.
Brittany was first introduced to CrossFit in 2016. After her playing career she dealt with back issues and was extremely hesitant to the style of training. After a year of debate, she finally went all in. She soon realized the DRC movement philosophy started to reduce her back pain, eventually eliminating it. Brittany has a new found passion to share this philosophy with all youth athletes that make their way into the DRC.
