Guyson is a CrossFit coach at The DRC. He does a tremendous job of helping to push our members to a level they never thought they were capable of. Guyson inspires everyone at The DRC to be better. He is currently a full-time firefighter/EMT with the City of Peoria.
Guyson was born in California, but moved to Arizona when he was 4. He was always involved in competitive team sports growing up, whether it was baseball, football, or wrestling. Shortly after graduating high school, Guyson started working towards his goal of becoming a professional firefighter. After about a year on the job and countless years of being the “typical gym goer,” he found CrossFit and was immediately humbled. CrossFit hooked him because it translates into his home life, as well as his career as a firefighter. He loved CrossFit so much, Guyson decided to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
Guyson enjoys introducing new people to the sport of CrossFit and helping experienced athletes improve as well. Ultimately he loves helping people live a healthier, more functionally fit life.
“I enjoy helping others, in hopes to influence them positively, whether it I am coaching CrossFit or I am on a call.”
